At the judgment seat, in the middle of all my stumbles, this much I know I will be able to say to the One seated on the great white throne: “I obeyed you, Father. You said go, and I went.” I went. He went with me, every mile. And it was worth it.

—Luis Palau

I have no regret in pouring out my years, from the time I was a boy, for the sake of the Good News. If I was given a thousand lifetimes, I would dedicate them all to the same calling. I am so glad I lived that way.

If you are to be impressed by anything about me, then be impressed with this: I’m not all that special. Is that not a greater testimony? God uses the weak.

—Luis Palau

Jesus, through death, destroyed the power of death over us. Only His victory can deliver us into true life. Is that not Good News?

For if Christ has given me His life here in our fallen world, and if He is even now ascended and interceding for me in heaven, will He not be faithful to His promises to bring me safely home to Himself? Will He not bring me into the presence of the Father, at whose right hand is joy forevermore? Will He not let me find the home in Him that I have always longed for?

—Luis Palau

Jesus was able to conquer the grave and He is able to redeem your story.

The great mystery of the burning bush was not that it was aflame, but that it was not consumed. Though my body is slowly failing me—burned out and burned up—my spirit feels that it is burning more hotly and brightly than ever. I have no regrets. A life on fire, after all, is a life well spent. My life has been spent for the Gospel.

—Luis Palau

The best periods of my life were those times I really did simply delight in the Lord. He is the loving Father, the kind Master, the One with greater patience than we could ever imagine. Joy, full blessing, laughter—those are the hallmarks of our relationship with God.
