Will you continue to dream those big dreams with us? Will you join us in treasuring unity in this big, beautiful body of Christ—just as Luis did?

The word, “evangelist” means bearer of Good News. And Papa (as I called him) taught me to love the Gospel—and not only to love it but to never move past it. And to always share it.

Over decades, he reminded his team that to share this Good News we must, “Go to where the people are.” He fanned the flame of evangelism, encouraging his family and the team, “Do big things. Dream great dreams.”

Another phrase he repeated, again and again, was, “An evangelist is nothing without a team.” As we continue to grieve our loss (yet rejoice over Heaven’s gain), this team—the Luis Palau Association—feels a fresh fire to continue this great work of evangelism that he started. He prepared us well. He trained and released the next generation.
