Lee Strobel shares heartwarming reflections on Twitter.
Luis Palau’s good friend, Lee Strobel, shared these heartwarming thoughts on Twitter in the days following Luis’s death…
Among Luis Palau’s last words to me: “At the end of your life, when all is said and done, you’ll never regret being courageous for Christ.”

Here’s a treasure — Before he died Luis Palau gave me his handwritten preaching notes for his sermon on heaven. Now, by God’s grace, he’s experiencing the real thing! pic.twitter.com/wj3cahilac

A few months before he died, Luis Palau joked that he wished he could text me from heaven to tell me about it. Now that he’s there, I imagine the text would say simply: “Hallelujah! Holy holy holy Lord God Almighty!” pic.twitter.com/JyoGYMKN3d

I asked Luis Palau who he would want to visit in heaven and he said his dad, who passed away when Luis was just 10. “He taught me how to die—with a hymn in my heart and Scripture on my lips.”
